He has a special interest in the physical and rehabilitative needs of cancer survivors who continue to experience the effects of their cancer or its treatment. Dr. Asher has led the development a number of unique cancer survivorship programs with his colleagues\, including Emerging from the Haze\, GRACE\, and others with the goal of optimizing physical\, psychological\, and spiritual resilience for patients with cancer. Dr. Asher completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at UCLA and a cancer rehabilitation fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston\, Texas.

She has completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology followed by subspecialized fellowship training in Cancer Genetics and Breast Health. She provides comprehensive gynecologic care to breast cancer survivors and patients with gene mutations or family history that elevate their risk for breast and ovarian cancers.  \n  \nErin Cobain\, MD\nAssociate Professor of Internal Medicine\nDivision of Hematology/Oncology\nUniversity of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center \nDr. Erin Cobain is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center where she serves as Co-Chair of the Breast Cancer Clinical Research Team. Her research focuses on identifying those at high risk of developing breast cancer and personalizing therapy for those with a breast cancer diagnosis through tumor molecular and genomic profiling. Dr. Cobain is very active within the SWOG breast cancer committee\, currently serving as study chair of an NCTN clinical trial exploring use of combination chemo-immunotherapy for patients with high-risk\, hormone receptor positive\, HER2-negative early-stage breast cancer. She is also very active within ASCO\, serving on the TAPUR molecular tumor board\, annual meeting Education Committee for Prevention\, Risk Reduction and Hereditary Cancers\, the Government Relations Committee and is a recent graduate of the ASCO Leadership Development Program.

Designed for healthcare professionals\, this discussion emphasizes multidisciplinary strategies to address sexual health concerns across the cancer care continuum. \n\n \nErin Dean\, PT\, DPT\, CLT\nDoctor of Physical Therapy\, Certified Sexuality Counselor\nCancer Rehab and Integrative Medicine \nErin (she/her) is a doctor of physical therapy who is certified in pelvic health\, lymphedema therapy and oncology rehabilitation. She is also certified as a sexuality counselor\, assisting patients in returning to their vibrant\, creative and sexual lives after cancer treatment. She has a background in yoga and seeks to treat the patient as a whole person\, mind\, body and all. Erin spent 10 years traveling\, working\, and volunteering in different countries before going back to school at 30 to get her doctorate in PT. She is an avid cyclist with a love of the outdoors\, and she and her spouse have a five year old son. \n  \nKristen de Vries\, DO\, MS\nAssistant attending – cancer and women’s health rehabilitation and assistant professor of rehabilitation medicine\nNew York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine \nDr. de Vries graduated from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT-COM)\, where she also obtained a master’s degree in neuromusculoskeletal medicine. She then completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center. Her time at Montefiore cultivated an interest in women’s health\, prompting her to pursue a fellowship opportunity in women’s rehabilitation medicine. She then went on to complete a fellowship in cancer rehabilitation medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is now an assistant attending physiatrist and assistant professor of rehabilitation medicine and Cornell/NYPH where she sees both cancer patients and those with pelvic floor dysfunction.
