Jeff Stone, Ph.D.

Dr. Jeff Stone is a University of Arizona Distinguished Professor of Psychology in the School of Mind, Brain and Behavior and a Professor of Psychiatry in the College of Medicine. He is also appointed faculty in the Marketing Department of the Eller College of Management, and a research associate in the Arizona Cancer Center, all at the University of Arizona. He directs two research labs in the Psychology Department at the University of Arizona. His research in the Self and Attitudes lab develops new influence strategies to promote healthy behavior and the reduction of prejudice. In the Social Psychology of Sport Lab, his research investigates the causes and consequences of racial and gender stereotypes for the behavior of athletes both on and off the field.
Winifred Mak, MD, PhD

Dr. Winifred Mak is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist and a part of both UT Health Austin’s Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility care team and UT Health Austin’s Cancer Fertility Preservation care team. She specializes in understanding oocyte and early embryo biology to help patients facing infertility issues and recurrent pregnancy loss. Additionally, Dr. Mak is an associate professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Women’s Health. Dr. Mak earned her medical degree from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, a second residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Mak has authored and co-authored several publications ranging from the cost-effectiveness of preimplantation genetic screening for women 37 years of age and older undergoing IVF to polycystic ovarian syndrome and the risk of cardiovascular disease and thrombosis.
Sarah Felderhoff, MSN, APRN
Oncofertility Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Sarah Felderhoff specializes in oncofertility and is a licensed advanced practice registered nurse in both Women’s Health, a clinical partnership between UT Health Austin and Ascension Seton, and UT Health Austin’s Livestrong Cancer Institutes. She is also a part of the CaLM Care Team and a part of UT Health Austin’s Cancer Fertility Preservation care team. She earned her bachelor’s in nursing from The University of Texas at Austin and her Master’s in nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Felderhoff has a background in women’s health, pediatric oncology and family medicine. She is especially passionate about oncology and truly loves caring for patients of all ages facing a cancer diagnosis. She enjoys working with the patient as well as their family to find the treatment plan that works best for them.

Christine Jon’el Adley is an award-winning advocate, living on the south side of Chicago, devoted to her work as the Project Coordinator for the YAAS! Grant. Paired with her background and comprehensive knowledge in patient advocacy, she is committed to promoting health equity and reducing health disparities in underrepresented communities. She is a public speaker and aspiring author committed to using her experience to serve as a driving force of change for others.
Lakshmi Balasubramanian
Hematologist and Medical Oncologist
Dr. “Bala” is a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist. She completed her Medical Doctorate in Chennai, India, received her Masters in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from the University of Florida, stayed on to complete her internship and residency in Internal medicine also from the University of Florida, and finished it off with a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Northwestern University in Chicago. Her areas of special interest are breast cancer, women’s health, cancer survivorship care, gastrointestinal malignancies and novel therapeutic agents. Dr. Bala is a published author, has received numerous accolades, and is very involved in survivorship community outreach programs.
