A committed advocate for improving health outcomes for Texas communities historically underserved by public health programs, has worked for Foundation Communities since 2015. She has worked in education, communication, program management, and community organizing for fifteen years in Texas and brings expertise in partnership-building, coalition management, and community-based collaboration with her to Foundation Communities. She has a PhD in Humanities Research from the University of Texas at Austin, where she taught for five years.
